5 Star Review Size: 36DD

The fit was true to size, I ordered my usual bra size. The bra seems sturdy and I find no poking from the boning or underwire. Very pleased. Lisa from New Jersey, USA

The longline bra fit well in the cups for me. I took other reviewer's advice and went down a size as I am a D-DD depending on the brand. However, my rib cage varies between 32 and 34, and it appears that 32 was the wrong call for this item. I could get the bra on with help, but it was just too snug for my purposes. After all, I determined that I did not need it for the dress I was making, so I chose not to order the next size, but will be returning for future shopping. Megan from Washington, USA

5 Star Review Size: 32C

At the last dress fitting for my wedding, we suddenly realized that the seamstress had taken too much off the hem and now the strapless dress was too low for me to feel comfortable in without feeling like I was going to fall out.. if you know what I mean. We searched everywhere for a low backed bra but I also hate strapless bras because they slide down all the time and i didn't want to have to hiking it back up so we looked for a corsett styled support. It was impossible to find. Til we found this in a boutique. She was out of the ivory so I looked online for it. I bought it from here because it was the same price as the store and without shipping, was the perfect choice. I am a 34c so i purchased a 32c and it fit beautifully. It stayed up all day and night (even dancing, and my husband dipped me repeatedly in our first dance) and I never felt uncomfortable or at risk of revealing too much. I highly recommend trying it on in a store before purchasing, but that it is high quality and worth purchasing. Amanda from Fairfield, CA

This fits me incredibly well. In fact, it's one of the best fitting bras I have ever owned. The problem is that the boning shows through my wedding dress so I cannot wear it. It saddens me that it shows through when it has the word "invisible" in the name. My dress has a fairly thick fabric, so I am surprised that is shows through. Hopefully I can use it for some other outfit!

Carnival Response:We are very happy to hear that you were satisfied with the fit of this garment. However, we are sorry to hear that you were not completely satisfied. The combination of the outer shell fabric on this corset and the fabric on your dress should completely cover the boning. In the rare case that it does not accomplish complete invisibility, you might want to try a combination of Carnival Invisible Strapless Bra 126 with a high waist control brief. Emma from Maine

Very good line. Wearable with more clothes than the evening gown I ordered it for. Well made, good fit. Clementina from New York, NY

3 Star Review Size: 32DDD

As almost everyone else has commented, this bra was not true to size. I normally wear 32DDD, and in this bra would have needed a 30 or maybe even a 28. The bra was attractive, very smooth, and comfortable. It was the only bustier out of three that I ordered that didn't show under my satin wedding gown. It was also the best made out of the three Carnival bras I ordered. It was also the only one with smooth cups that didn't create a duck boob effect. It has even, smooth, and very light padding across the cups. I haven't tried it on in the correct size yet, but I suspect that I will also need to go down one cup size more than usual, not just band size.

Carnival Response: Since you are petite I would suggest you go down a cup size to 32DD. Luce from North Carolina

The construction was good overall, but I felt that my breasts looked even larger when wearing this bra. I had hoped for a fit that kept my breasts closer to my chest, but the bra maximized my shape. I had to return it.

Carnival Response: Unfortunately the only type of bra to do what you are describing is a minimizer bra. Try our Carnival Two Part Lace Underwire Minimizer Bra 509 for the results you desire. Guest from Washington, DC

This garment is pretty true to size; however, it didn't cinch nearly enough for me, if at all. I exchanged it for the next band size down.

Carnival Response: Every woman has a unique shape. Every bra style fits differently (even different styles from the same manufacturer fit differently). This uniqueness is even more pronounced when it comes to wearing a torsolette since they not only have to fit the breasts and upper back of a woman, but they deal with the stomach, waist, and lower back as well. One band size smaller should do the trick especially since you have two columns of hook and eye closures to adjust to your preference. Nisha from Huntsville, AL, USA

The bra was the worst thing I ever bought, I hope I get my money back, there was no support at all it was a wast of my time.

Carnival Response: It is impossible that a bra of this construction could have "no support at all". This bra is constructed with boning across the whole width of the body, a back closure all the way up to the armpits, and full coverage cups. The only way that a bra of this construction would not give you the desired support would be if you were wearing either a cup or band size that was too big. Based on your comment you should have either gone down a cup size or a band size. Unfortunately since you were not detailed in where you felt the lack of support I cannot advise you as to which of the two options would have been better for your problem. carolyn from deltona fl

This torsolette was pretty and comfortable, but was a little too long in the torso for my petite, short-waisted frame. Moreover, it didn't offer as much support for my large bust as I was hoping. I returned it since it didn't work for me.

Carnival Response:The reason that you did not get the desired support was because this bra is not made for your body type. This style is not made for petite figures. It is a full figure bra. Emily from USA

It just did not fit around the waist/chest. I do not know if it was mis-sized or the sizing is off. I have experienced size problems with many garments on line. It is the biggest issue of ordering on line. There just does seem to be uniformity in sizing. On line shopping offers a consumer a large choice. However, the added cost of shipping back an item that does not fit is reducing the benefit. Bonnie from DE
