Va Bien lingerie is a heritage lingerie company started by Marianne and Richard Gimble, whose mission was to supply women worldwide with intimates that make them look and feel beautiful in their clothes. Marianne came from a French design background, and had a detailed knowledge of the female body from medical training. Her husband Richard had over 20 years of experience with intimate lingerie from the family business, Image O' Youth. Marianne and Richard understood that the foundation garment was necessary to transform a woman's dressing issues, with the right undergarment instantly supplying a pleasing silhouette.

Marianne and Richard Gimble based their business on the belief that women deserve shapewear and lingerie that is both comfortable and attractive. Shapewear at that time was uncomfortable, thick and bulky, often showing through clothing.
